Gateway Community College, established in 1968, is located at Phoenix, Arizona. Gateway Community College is a public institution of higher learning offering associate degrees and certificates in business and information technologies, health sciences, industrial technology, liberal arts, math and sciences and nursing.
The College also offers several occupational programs including agriculture, architecture, art, aviation, business, education and training, environmental technology, finance, government and public administration, health science, hospitality and tourism, human services, information technology, manufacturing, marketing and law.
While students enrolled in associate degree program must also complete the college general education core course requirements, students follow a sequence Licence course which includes word processing applications i and ii, and a small number of courses.
Gateway Community College offer classes for word processing
Students can pursue certificate and associate degree studies in word processing in schools two years in preparation for careers as secretaries, clerks or other occupations, entry-level word processing. Some community college continuing education department also offers introductory courses to train adult learners and citizens even greater use of word processing applications.
