Let It Snow, New Google Jokes

Posted on December 23rd, 2011 Filed under INTERNET

There’s a latest update from Google Jokes for December 2011. If you are a user’s of Mozilla Firefox or Chrome browser, when you do a search on www.google.com for the word “let it snow” then on the search results page you will see the effect of snow that was falling. The snow fell from the top of the browser window, and then quickly fills the entire page of your browser and then experiencing fogging effects (fog). This effect will be felt more prominent if you activate full screen mode (usually by pressing the F11 button on the keyboard on PC – or you have to manually zoom on a Mac.)

After the page covered with the fog effect, then you can move your mouse to remove the snow (like removing the fog on the glass), or wait until you are quite blurry on then appears the “defrost” button (Disbursement) on the screen, which can clean up everything. For now it seems like to work only on 2 browsers only. In IE, the effect itself does not appear, but in my Opera I have not been tried yet.

Let it snow itself is one of a series of Google jokes for the end of 2011. In addition to “let it snow” you can also do a search like: “hannuka“, “Santa Claus” or “Christmas Lights“. Note the border image that appears under your search box.
