Mosi Tatupu the greatest Hawaii high school football players Dies

Former Patriots running back Mosi Tatupu a popular player during his tenure in New England from 1978-90 died Tuesday at his Massachusetts home at the age of 54 according to a report in the Honolulu StarBulletin.

He was one of the greatest Hawaii high school football players. In the finals Cox went up against a Mosi Tatupu like senior from Boca Raton Olympic Heights Brian Blackwell. 

KITV reported that Mosi Tatupu has passed away. Mosi Tatupu who was a great running back player of National Football League has passed away. The cause of death is not known at this time. Mosi Tatupu had 612 carries and 2415 yards in his 14year NFL career.

Tatupu who was born in Pago Pago American. Mosi died in his sleep at home on the mainland today. After 13 seasons with the Patriots from 1978 to 1990 Tatupu played five games for the Los Angeles Rams in 1991 before ending his playing career.
