Julia Gillard the first woman Prime Minister of Australia

Former Deputy Prime Minister Julia Gillard was elected to replace Kevin Rudd as Prime Minister in sudden meeting Labour members in parliament.
Gillard will be assisted by Wayne Swan – who now serves as Minister of State Treasurer – as his deputies.

After weeks of speculation aside concerns about the leadership of the Labour Party, Gillard assured union leaders and factions to meet with Prime Minister Rudd last night to deliver the intention of gaining the leadership with Mr. Rudd that fade in popularity lately.

They worry about the occurrence of a failure to communicate the message effectively the Labour Party and a series of problematic decisions regarding various policies have been made a declining support for the Labour Party in the polls and poll results also from the Labour party suffered defeat in the elections would be held within a period not longer. But this morning Kevin Rudd has declared his resignation and the board members of the Labour Party in parliament announced Gillard as his replacement.

Julia Gillard is the first woman Prime Minister of Australia, and Kevin Rudd is the first Labour Party leader deposed in his first time. Kevin Rudd has managed to bring the Labor Party back to the reins of government in late 2007 after over 12 years as an opposition party, and in first two years served as the Prime Minister received enormous support from Public.  Under the leadership of Mr. Rudd, Australia is successfully facing the global financial crisis without suffering a big recession. But later, Mr. Rudd accused often do not consult with the parties, and some lawmakers criticized his leadership style.
